Bibliophiles will love browsing the four floors of books. This bookstore doesn’t have a computerized filing system, so you’re in for an adventure searching through its many bookshelves. But don’t worry, one of the many skilled employees will help you search. The collection is organized by category, sub-category, author, and title. Whether you are looking for a specific title from years gone by, or just looking for another good read, John K. King Books is sure to have what you need.

Source Booksellers

Founded by Janet Webster Jones, Source Booksellers has been providing a wealth of information on the widest variety of topics since 2002. You can browse books on metaphysics and spirituality, fair trade chocolates, health and well-being, and so much more.

The store also hosts book and author discussions with local and national authors. In addition, they host local community related conversations through relevant books and subjects. Events at Source Booksellers include classes like Tai Chi, Yoga, and more designed to improve mind, body, and spirit in the community. They even have regular discussions about celestial changes, and how these impact our daily lives.

Pages Bookshop

Susan Murphy opened Pages Bookshop on Grand River Avenue to provide a place for lovers of books to retreat to, and to find that next great read. At Pages Bookshop you will find yourself wondrously lost among the thousands of books. You can spend hours exploring their expansive collection of literary fiction, non-fiction, and children’s literature. In addition to hosting book club meetings, Pages Bookshop offers several author events every week. With a constantly changing schedule of events there is sure to be something interesting to see and hear at Pages Bookshop.

While Susan is the Chief Curator, she also has help from Abby Rubin who curates the pop culture offerings at Pages Bookshop. Also assisting is Erin Gold, primarily with events, but dabbling in a little bit of everything. Susan is unique in her involvement, looking to learn more about her regular customers. She will often order books with a specific customer in mind, simply because she wants them to enjoy a good book.

No matter your taste in books, if you love reading, you’ll love browsing any one of these great bookstores. You’ll never know what you might discover, but you’re sure to find a fantastic read.
