Check Out These Innovative Features of the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica

January 14th, 2019 by

The 2019 Chrysler Pacifica is the most technologically equipped vehicle in its class and it also America’s first ever hybrid minivan. It’s the ideal car for the modern family with its clever use of space, advanced safety and convenience features, and comfortable interior. Here are some of the Pacifica’s great innovative features.

Intelligent Space

The standard seating capacity in the Pacifica is seven, although by opting for a second-row bench seat in place of the captain’s chairs you can carry eight people in comfort. Even with a full complement of passengers, you still have 32.3 cubic feet of cargo space to stow some luggage. There is also significant under-seat storage and a variety of map pockets, sliding drawers, storage bins, and the essential cup holders.

Where the Pacifica comes into its own is its versatility for carrying a combination of passengers and cargo. The class-exclusive Stow ‘n Go storage and seating system enables you to simply fold the second- and third-row seats into the floor. You get an amazing 243 possible seating configurations, making it easy to carry even awkward cargo along with the family. The Pacifica Hybrid does not have second row Stow ‘n Go seats.

Convenience Features

When you have a busy lifestyle, you often feel as though you could use another pair of hands. Some of the available features on the Pacifica give you the next best thing. The remote keyless entry and start saves you having to fumble for your keys when your hands are full.

Accessing the rear seats and cargo area is simple with the power liftgate and power sliding rear doors. With the available hands-free option, just waving your foot opens the doors and liftgate. The second-row Easy Tilt seating system makes getting in and out of the third row simple. The Limited trim models even offer you an integrated vacuum cleaner which reaches throughout the interior.

Advanced Safety Features

Safety features included as standard equipment include traction control and electronic stability control for safe handling and assisted four-wheel anti-lock braking system. Visibility is provided by daytime running lights, and a blind spot monitor alerts you to a vehicle alongside you.

The available Advanced Safety Tec package gives you adaptive cruise control, full-speed forward collision warning with active braking, lane departure warning with lane keep assist, fully automatic headlights, parallel and front park assist, a 360-degree surround view camera system, and more.

Entertainment on the Move

Even the base model Pacifica offers a 7-inch touch screen, six-speaker sound system with auxiliary and USB inputs, wireless Bluetooth technology, and smartphone integration. Stepping up to higher trim levels gets you an 8.4-inch touch screen, premium 13-speaker audio, and satellite radio.

An available upgrade for the Limited trim offers a 20-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, and a Uconnect rear Theater system with dual 10-inch seatback touch screens, HDMI inputs, a Blu-ray player, and access to a range of games and apps.
