Explore the Dodge Charger’s Sleek, Stylish Features

December 3rd, 2018 by

The 2018 Dodge Charger is a sleek, stylish car, no matter which way you look at it. In profile, it almost has the look of a big cat flexing its muscles and ready to pounce. There are nine trim levels and, as the power under the hood increases, the exterior styling evolves to reflect that power.

Body Style

Clues to the Charger’s performance pedigree come from the sculpted hood with its double bulge, sloping forward to the aggressively styled black crosshair grille. The wraparound headlamps and LED daytime running lights curve around to the fenders, while the deep spoiler gives the car a lower, sporting stance on the road.

The scalloped design of the doors gives the charger the impression of motion even when it’s standing still. The sloping roofline sweeps back to the flying buttress styled rear roof pillars which provide extra aerodynamic stability. The body line rises towards the rear end where the LED tail lamp forms a continuous ribbon of light across the rear of the car.

The higher performance trims feature a power bulge hood with a hood scoop, performance side sills, and a redesigned front fascia featuring a narrower honeycomb grille. The SRT Hellcat adds dual hood air extractors. All models have unique badges to reflect their style.

Rear Spoiler

You have a choice of three rear spoiler styles which are optional or standard, depending on the trim level. A three-piece, body-colored spoiler is integrated into the decklid adding a more refined look. A sculpted satin black one-piece performance spoiler adds function and sporting style. SRT models feature a body-colored, single piece performance spoiler which displays the sporting prowess of the car while functioning to create downforce for more stability at high speeds.

The wheels you choose for your car can completely alter its appearance and add your personal style. The standard wheels on each trim level have selected to showcase its style. However, there are 14 different styles of wheel available for your Charger, depending on the model you choose.

Five-spoke bright aluminum wheels, available at 17, 18, 19, or 20 inches, add an air of sophistication while opting for 20-inch gloss or satin-black painted wheels gives the car a more aggressive, sporting appearance. High-performance models feature 9.5-inch wide wheels and tires which enhance the car’s low profile while providing maximum contact with the road.

Interior Style

With a choice of 18 interior trims, you can create the cabin space to suit your personality. Seats can be upholstered in stylish houndstooth cloth, luxurious Alcantra suede, Nappa leather or Laguna leather. Color options include mean and moody black, sporty ruby-red, and sophisticated pearl. Heated front and rear seats are available, as are ventilated front seats.

Technology and style are combined to create the ultimate in driver comfort. The instrument panel is enclosed in a one-piece aluminum-lithograph bezel, highlighting the analog dials and 7-inch customizable driver information display.

With the 2018 Dodge Charger, the sleek style, sophistication, and performance are standard. But the wide range of models and options makes its personality yours. To see more, contact Ray Laethem Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram today.
