Take a Look at the 2020 Jeep Gladiator

November 28th, 2019 by

Jeep continues to produce the finest 4×4 vehicles for both on and off-road driving. Here’s a look at their latest success — the 2020 Jeep Gladiator, engineered to be a true pickup truck, but with that distinctive Jeep design and capability.

The Gladiator comes with a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine. Paired with Jeep’s six-speed automatic transmission, the Gladiator puts out 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. That’s more than enough power to get you through, over, or around whatever lies in your path. It’s also plenty of power to tow that boat down to the lake, or the trailer up into the hills.

Trail Rated 4×4 Capability

The Gladiator is the only pickup ever to earn Jeep’s coveted Trail Rated badge. The Gladiator had to pass a series of rugged off-road tests to earn this distinction. Surviving the toughest terrain and harshest conditions to earn the Trail Rated badge proves the Gladiator’s worthiness.

Jeep’s 4×4 system features advanced traction control systems to always provide power where it’s needed most. In addition, the Gladiator has a high air-intake and special water sealing to allow for water fording up to 30-inches.

The Gladiator’s precision steering system provides superior control and increased articulation to keep all four wheels on the ground. All that control and up to 11.1 inches of ground clearance will have you going over obstacles other trucks only dream about.

Advanced Off-Road Technology

With Jeep’s Forward Facing TrailCam Off-Road Camera system, you can see everything as it comes at you. The camera shows the path in front with grid lines displayed to help you pick the best path. Jeep has even installed an automatic washer to clean mud from the lens with the push of a button.

Jeep’s Off-Road+ system allows you to fine-tune your ride. With the push of a button, you can adjust shift points, throttle control, and traction control to get you through sand, mud, gravel, and low-speed rock crawling.

Heavy-duty axles made by Dana 44 have extra thick forging and tubing making it one of the most durable platforms out there. Heavy-duty front and rear tow hooks are attached to help your friends get un-stuck after trying to follow you.

You may be off-road in the middle of nowhere, but if you have a signal, your cellphone will come in handy. The Gladiator has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto linked through Jeep’s UConnect system. Access navigation, make calls and texts, and more from the touchscreen display. You can also play your favorite music on the Bluetooth speaker that recharges as you drive. This tough speaker is water-resistant up to 3 feet for 30 minutes, and is specially sealed to keep out the trail dust you’re sure to kick up.

Off-road style is standard on the Gladiator. Choose from a myriad of cloth and leather appointments on seats designed to keep you comfortable no matter the road or track you travel.

There are a lot of features to like about the Jeep Gladiator. Come test drive one today and see which ones suit your style best.
